-
Big hospital systems often charge patients hospital facility or operating room fees despite the fact that they may not have been treated in the hospital. Patients don't know how much they owe until they get the bill. These charges can amount to thousands of dollars and are sometimes not covered by insurance.
-
Our fees are transparent and there are no surprise charges.

New Patient Visit
Getting to know you during the initial consultation is an essential first step in creating a tailored treatment plan. Expect this initial session to last approximately 60 minutes and be filled with many questions. After meticulously going through your history, we will sit together, discuss your diagnosis, and create your individualized treatment plan.
We will send you an intake form to complete prior to your appointment.
We ask that you bring the following to your appointment:
-
A list of your current medical prescriptions
-
Any brain imaging, such as CT scans and MRI films, lab tests or outside medical records (if applicable)
-
Daily headache log
Sessions can be in-person or via telemedicine.*

*Telemedicine visits are limited to residents located in TX because of licensing requirements.
Follow-Up Visit
During your follow-up visit, we will go through your health history, lifestyle changes, and discuss any alterations in your headaches. This is a time when we will also refill prescriptions, if needed. We will work on optimizing your treatment plan to ensure that your headaches are well-controlled. Follow-up visits typically take around 25-30 minutes.

The injection of BOTOX® into proven sites around the head and neck can significantly decrease migraine frequency. BOTOX® injections are performed every 12 weeks.

Please note that therapeutic BOTOX® is only available for existing patients. If you are a new patient, please schedule a consultation first.
Peripheral Nerve Blocks
Numbing medication, typically ropivacaine, is injected along the nerves in the scalp that control migraine and head pain. Nerve blocks can also be beneficial for trigeminal neuralgia and other facial pain disorders.

Please note that these injections are available for existing patients only. If you are a new patient, please schedule a consultation. Injections can then be an add-on during your new patient visit.
Trigger Point Injections
Tight and irritable muscles in the head and neck are identified and injected with a local anesthetic to reduce pain and relieve muscle tension.

Please note that these injections are available for existing patients only. If you are a new patient, please schedule a consultation. Injections can then be an add-on during your new patient visit.
SPG Blocks
A local anesthetic is delivered to a group of nerves in the back of the nose, called the sphenopalatine ganglion, to treat headaches and facial pain.
